With inspiration ranging from surf shops and skate magazines, to brands like Too Good by the Too Good Sisters, Paul Harnden, and M.CROW by Tyler Hays, Dashiel Brahmann stitches together abstract elements and contemporary lines; aiming to deliver clean, natural, minimal garments.
After initially moving to NYC to study menswear design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and being amongst 16 who survived the intense curriculum, Dashiel won the Joe's Blackbook Design Scholarship in 2014. Since, he has worked with brands like Burberry, Thom Browne, Theory, Patrick Ervell, and Pilgrim Surf + Supply.
Currently based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, his studio is filled with sourced vintage screen prints, woven fabrics, and freshly made garments, all which are cut and sewn into his current namesake label. Dashiel's ready-to-wear collection will soon be available in NY & Japan Pilgrim Surf + Supply stores.
